Jersey Reds Women have hit top spot in NC South 2, after they were victorious on the road on Sunday, to stretch their winning streak to 6 games.
They travelled to Dorchester and came away with a 17-5 victory in what was a battling display. The 16 players in the squad all put in a huge shift to secure maximum points in very tough conditions.
Leading try-scorer Taye Boakye-Yiadom scored her 11th of the campaign, with forwards Pippa Donovan and Holly Bertram opening their accounts for the year. Amber Hopwood added 1 goal.
The Reds will now turn their attentions to their final league game on 17th March as they host bottom side Swanage & Wareham.
