Jersey Reds Women come into the spotlight on Saturday as they host Amesbury Ladies in a top of the table clash at Stade Santander International. Kick-off at 12.30pm
The Reds return to action after a 6-week period without a game, full of confidence following a winning run that has not seen them taste defeat since the return fixture against this week's visitors back in November. On this occasion, it was a lack of players that saw them fall short, as they battled to a 32-7 defeat. This despite finishing the game with only 11 fit players.
Paris Ozouf (suspension), Amy Carter (work commitments) and Taye Boakye-Yiadom (injury) come back into the Starting XV. Alongside a healthy number of other options, which allows Coach George Eastwell to name a full squad of 22 for the home tie.
This has left him and his support team very hopeful that second-placed Reds can upset the unbeaten league leaders in front of a big crowd and close the gap at the summit of the NC South 2 league table.
