Jersey Reds Women are seeking a Team Manager. The post would operate in the same way as the Jersey Reds Athletic Team Manager, who you would work closely alongside.
The Women have enjoyed a strong 2018/19 season. Finishing 2nd in National Challenge South 2, whilst losing narrowly in their Siam Cup fixture last weekend against Guernsey Ladies.
The role would require the individual to be present on training nights and match days wherever possible. The duties would be made up of:
· Player management and availability
· Kit and other equipment
· Matchday management
· Maintain player database
· Travel liaison with Jersey Reds Fixture Secretary (Kate Innes)
· Players’ membership
· Chair Jersey Reds Women Committee meetings
This is a voluntary role which could possibly suit an ex-player and/or someone with time on their hands. It is a very important role and would be ideal for anyone wishing to support the continued development of Women’s rugby in Jersey.
An induction will be provided, and support will be available from the Chairman of Amateur Rugby as well as the experienced Athletic management team.
