Full-time: another good Championship Cup win for the Reds, defeating Richmond 43-21 at Stade Santander International.
The renowned Reds' rolling maul was unleashed several times in the first half with hooker Jack Macfarlane claiming four tries and scrum-half Hilton Mudariki another. Will Goodrick-Clarke scored for the visitors from the last play of the half.
The second half was closer with two tries apiece - Beckett and Newey for the Reds and responses from 'Mond' by Boyce and a penalty try. Both sides were struggling to adapt to the new high tackle law and there were four yellow cards, but the Reds return to top of pool 2, leading Ealing by 15pts to 12.
