Quins finish strongly to overcome Reds

11/08/2018

Full time: Jersey Reds 14 Harlequins 33.

The Reds competed really well in a full-throttle encounter and took the lead through Jason Worrall. Quins levelled through Max Crumpton and grabbed a 2nd try right on half time with eventual MoM Aaron Morris crossing in the corner.

Auguy Slowik scored a try from Brett Herron's cross-kick for 14-14 after 50 mins but that was as good as it got with three more tries for the visitors (pack efforts from Dave Ward and Luke Wallace plus an 80-metre intercept from Charlie Walker) for a slightly flattering 19-point winning margin.
