The long-awaited first home game in National League One is
almost upon us. Birmingham & Solihull, a.k.a. the Bees, are on
their way to Jersey ahead of this Saturday's game.

Ben Harvey's team will be looking to further strengthen the
'Fortress St Peter' reputation of our home patch, and at the same
time get a first win at this level after the agonising 27-29 defeat
at Fylde last weekend. The Bees, meanwhile, after relegation from
the Championship last season, were soundly defeated at home last
Saturday by our old foes Ealing Trailfinders, so will have
something to prove when they take to the field in Jersey at 2.55pm
on Saturday. Jersey old boy Dan Hawkes played for the Bees last
weekend and is expected back at St Peter with the visitors.

Before this weekend's game starts, there's a lot of news for
members, so please read on...
