While much of the Channel Islands' rugby spotlight may be on the
exploits of Jersey and Guernsey's 1st teams, plus Jersey Athletic
and St Jacques in their respective UK leagues, at least half of the
adult players on the Islands are playing in the local league.
The Jersey Rugby Association (JRA) League includes JRFC's 3rd
XV, the Buccaneers, alongside fellow Jersey sides Quennevais,
United Banks and Beeches, plus Guernsey RFC's 2nd XV. The teams
play each other twice, home and away, with play-offs at the end of
the season.
