Jersey battled back into the game but were ultimately not able to recover from two tries by former England wing Tom Varndell.
Varndell's double was augmented by three Gavin Henson kicks and a late mauled try by Olly Robinson, while Jersey's only score was a try by Tom Howe after 65 minutes.
