Jersey host Nottingham Rugby this Friday in the first ever Championship league game to be staged at St Peter under lights.
With little to choose between the two sides, both having won 3 a piece from their opening 7 matches, this is sure to be a closely contested fixture.
Whilst disappointed with the return from last weeks' fixture away at Old Deer Park, Head coach Harvey Biljon was certainly not looking to dwell on that, and insisted that the team must look to take advantage of all the opportunities on offer - "Last week we unfortunately missed out on three of four chances."
Returning to the squad for the first time this season is Sami Fisilau who has been with the Tongan national side at the Rugby World Cup, and he is sure to make an impact from the bench.
Other changes from last week includes the preferred 'engine room' pairing of Nick Campbell and Pierce Phillips reunited again, with Campbell declared fit having missed last week's trip to the capital. Jack Moates starts at scrum half and Mark McCrea is given the nod at inside centre.
Nottingham arrive in Jersey looking to try and build some consistency and make it three wins in a row, having defeated London Scottish last time out with a last minute drop goal by fly-half Dan Mugford.
Previous encounters over the last three seasons show Jersey holding a 4-2 advantage, having completed a double - double in the last two campaigns, but with many new faces in both squads there is probably little that can be taken from that.
Whichever team is victorious will jump up to the top half of the table ahead of the rest of the weekend fixtures - its that tight in the division at the moment.
Jersey v Nottingham Rugby - GKIPA Championship, Friday Oct 23rd, St Peter, kick-off 7.45pm.
