In a game that saw the lead change six times, it was the visitors who ultimately came out on top.
In a game played under a bright blue sky, the breeze blowing up the slope must have played its part as Jersey used it to their territorial advantage in the first half, and Doncaster in the second.
Doncaster were first on the scoresheet, and lead 16-17 at the break having scored two tries to one.
Jersey looked to have taken control midway through the second half, but the Knights never game up and then landed two penalties to seize back the advantage, which they then held on to.
