The wind blew, it rained, it was cold, it was wet underfoot, and still 1,800 hardy supporters turned out to watch this first home match of the year.
Jersey went in at half time with a 17-0 lead having had a penalty try, a driven over maul tray, both converted, and a Brendan Cope penalty with the last kick of the half.
Doncaster spent the second 40 minutes in our half and with the wind behind got their three scores in the opposite order to ours to draw level deep in stoppage time.
