A nervy, but all important win for the men in Red to add some Christmas cheer for the local, faithful supporters.

Scottish notched an early penalty before a brilliantly taken try by Adair put the Reds on the front foot.

Opportunities came and went for Jersey and then a slip in concentration allowed the visitors a converted score under the posts just on the verge of half time to lead 7-10.

The second half saw exchanges of penalties as both sides struggled to get a hold, and then a moment of opportune brilliance by Ross Adair saw him chip over and sprint through to score the all important winning try.
