2018 TRAINING INFORMATION
Due to excessive water on our usual pitches, Sunday 21st January training will be at the Airport Pitches. These pitches are on the corner of La Rue Carree, which is the road to Les Ormes. Please arrive by 8.45am for registration so training can commence sharp at 9am. As you stand in the car park with your back to the small clubhouse, we will be the right hand pitch. Check Mini and Juniors website page BEFORE you leave home Sunday morning in case of any updates if weather deteriorates any further.
Please ensure your child has water, their gumshield, GLOVES and layers!

If you are new to rugby but want to try out then please get in touch, you will be welcome to try out for 2-3 weeks before committing to the membership fees however you MUST complete a registration form containing vital medical and contact information PRIOR to taking part in your first session, and all fees will then be due. Due to the level of contact being introduced to this age group, you will need to be able to attend the first 3 sessions of the 2018 term to be sure that you have the skills to take part in future training sessions. Do please get in touch to talk through.
Essential information - no gum shield = no play. Parents, we would encourage you to make this your childs responsibility each and every week, along with making sure they have their boots and a filled water bottle.
PLEASE MARK ALL KIT WITH YOUR CHILDS NAME! This includes boots, water bottles, bags, tops, shorts and socks. We had a great deal of kit left over at the end of last season that was all handed in to Lost Property.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO JOIN?
To start in September 2017 you need to be 9 before the 31 August 2017 - ie going in to Year 5 at school.

28th January - U10's vs St Michael's @ JRFC - pitch to be advised
16th February - Guard of Honour (7.45pm)
24th February - St Michaels vs U10's @ St Michaels - timing to be advised. NB This will be a Saturday event.
18th March - U10's vs St Michael's @ JRFC - pitch to be advised
25th March - Dorking UK Festival
31st March - Easter Festival @ JRFC. NB The festival is on Saturday however we will also hold a joint training session and additional games on Sunday with Old Northamptonians
28 April - Junior Siam Cup - Guernsey
6th May - end of season Fun Day
Please regularly check our webpage, this is the primary means of communicating with parents & will detail our training and travel schedule. Any variations to Sunday training, due to weather etc will be posted to the webpage by 6pm on a Saturday evening.
Parking is available at the clubhouse or on Pitch 3; please do not use the Jersey Bowl carpark.
Please also note the following
- players should not wear hoodies or clothing with zips for training
- all players must have a mouth guard bring a bottle of water to training
- new JR M&J kit is available to purchase in the M&J shop which is located in the container Adjacent to Pitch 4, not from the club shop. The M&J shop can now also accept card payment as well as cash and cheques. There is also a second hand kit shop on the first Sunday of every month operating from the changing room next to the M&J office facing Pitch 2.
please make sure a parent or other adult is somewhere on Club premises during training or advise your manager(and your child) if another adult has parental responsibility.
Please remove muddy boots & clothes before entering the Club house
