Players

Travel to the UK:

The JRFC Mini & Juniors will not arrange ‘extra’ insurance over and above the UK/Jersey reciprocal health agreement. Please click on the link to see what is covered - http://www.gov.je/Health/Travelling/Pages/VisitingJersey.aspx#anchor-0

Travel to France:

It is essential that all players carry the Jersey/France Attestation Certificate (available from Social Security) - https://www.cab.org.je/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=432:reciprocal-socialsecurity-and-healthcare-agreements-91616&catid=51&Itemid=55

In addition, squads will arrange extra cover for all players through the RFU at an extra cost of £8 per person (includes admin fee). - http://englandrugbyinsurance.co.uk/tours

Injury to a player:

In the case where a child is injured and has to be hospitalised a member of the coaching team will stay with the player until such time as a parent/guardian travels to the location or the player returns to the Jersey.

The cost of travel for parent/guardian to and from Jersey and the country of play will be for their account (unless covered under the extra RFU cover for trips to France). Should parents/guardians feel the above offers inadequate cover then it is recommended that they arrange their own insurance in this regard.

Disrupted or cancelled travel: There is no cover and any costs arising that are not covered by the airline, ferry operator or other travel operator will be for the account of parents/guardians. Should this not be acceptable to parents/guardians then it is recommended that they arrange their own insurance in this regard.
